using same theme, .tmux-powerlinerc, , .tmux.conf, tmux-powerline status line works in apple terminal, not in iterm2. in iterm2 doesn't show left status.
after first installed tmux-powerline , configured it, status line working properly. while editing copy of theme file left status disappeared , nothing i've tried brings back.
i backed out changes via git checkout -- <file> no avail. completed removed tmux-powerline , started on thinking configuration change botched, again no result.
both terminal.app , iterm2 have utf8 set encoding. .tmux.conf has set -g ut8 , set -g status-utf8 on. not using patched font , therefore have tmux_powerline_patched_font_in_use set false.
i have not made changes iterm2's preferences.
i'm @ loss why left status disappeared , how make return.
i solved issue uninstalling iterm2 , reinstalling it. removing com.googlecode.iterm2.plist file didn't help, resorted nuking entire thing orbit.
not sure got corrupted i'm pleased reinstall corrected it.
