ipad - Are there inherent differences between an iOS production app and a beta downloaded with Testflight? -

i have hybrid app worked in every test environment, , previous version works in production. test environments designed mimic production exactly, , have been in use many release cycles. yet installing beta using testflight (overwriting old production version) causes problems. no crashes, getting stuck somewhere in javascript. suppress error messages in production, i'm not sure what's causing error yet.

without going details on app, there differences between ios beta app , proper production app? underlying app same, , id same. apple distinguish beta in way? testflight might make beta app behave different in way? if it's subtle change in certificate or way libraries might behave, relevant debugging problem.
