How to remove a folder created by old version of application with files during upgrade in advanced installer -

many in advance, using advanced installer 12.1, scenario have installed application custom location feature , extends default application location, installation creates folders store temporary files "temporary" folder, folder used application on every minute basis , hence there files in folder, issue when run new build or try install new version of application, again select custom location, before finishing installation installer deleting folders installed older version not deleting folders contains files created application e.g temporary directory above deleted if empty when non-empty not removed.

solution tried: 1) used file removal tool remove file, think point current location , not pointing older application path. 2) custom vb script, again same issue #1 3) tried uninstall cleanup wizard, result #1

please guide me how can delete folder, appreciated.
