if statement - MS Word expression -


i try make page numbers if statement this

if more 1 page site numbers show up. cant make working when press ctrl + f9 , type command not working. { page } not working when put command form menu working... doing wrong?? why not working after ctrl + f9. , typing page. know can preview alt + f9

you need update field after inserting outside header or footer.

to insert:

  • type alt-f9 switch on field display
  • type ctrl-f9 enter field
  • type page enter page field
  • type alt-f9 shut down field display
  • type f9 update fields

to manually add date:

  • type alt-f9 switch on field display
  • type ctrl-f9 enter field
  • type date enter date field
  • type space add space, there should 2 spaces! (enable display formatting if want see spaces)
  • type alt-f9 shut down field display
  • type f9 update fields

as can see, adding right number of spaces in formulas critical. adding fields through ribbon (insert, text group, fields) can see how word creating fields itself. if familiar formatting can type ctrl-f9 formula , update f9.
