i'm trying make up.bat file using robocopy command , having issues. need folder on external hard drive, , same folder on laptop. issue drive letter hard drive changes sometimes, go disk management , have permanent drive letter, plan on having folder backed multiple devices , don't want have repeat again , again.
what i've tried far is:
@echo off robocopy "c:\users\zac\desktop\downloading" "%~d0\backup\file backups" /e /xf robocopy "%~d0\backup\file backups" "c:\users\zac\desktop\downloading" /e /xf i've tried swapping "%~d0" variety of drive letters, got no where.
the easy way out make drive letter permenent shown in link.
